Woman's Club of South Norfolk's holiday homes tour
The Woman's Club of South Norfolk's held its annual holiday homes tour. A long-time tradition in South Norfolk, visitors toured four historic homes festively decorated for the holiday season after the first stop at South Norfolk Congregational Christian church on Jackson Ave. Members of the Woman's Club warmly welcomed visitors at the Church served delicious refreshments and offered an array of crafts and for sale. All proceeds go to a scholarship given to a deserving Oscar Smith High School graduate.
From left: Kay Gerstein, Jean Bohnhoff and Betty Curling greeted guests. Kay and Betty helped with tickets; Jean's home was on the tour.
Members of the Woman's Club, like Peggy Brown above, donated their time to act as hostesses for the home tours. Peggy hosted the home of Jean and Scott Bohnhoff.
Club Member Nina Ambrose, left, with Heather Wallinovich at her family's home, which was on the tour.
Melody and Tim Jenkins generously opened their 1924 Cape Cod-style home to visitors for the tour.
